Green Anoles

This care sheet does not contain no species other than Green Anole.

Sexing and Characteristics:

Male: The male is bigger than a female and has a bigger head.
Some times young males have stripes.

Female: The female has a light stripe on the back. Usually smaller than a male.

Note: If you have Green Anoles have NO MATTER WHAT one male and the rest female or the males will have a fight to the death.

Mostly Active During:

Day

Substrate and Water Needs:

We spray our cage with a bottle every night.

Lighting and UVB:

Light: a sun ray protection light.

Temperatures and Humidity:

70-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Always misty

Heating and Equipment:

We use a bright light

Caging Provided:

I have an Expo-Terra cage. It is a 2X2 ft cage.

Diet:

N/A

Description of Diet:

My anoles eat small to medium sized crickets. We use a brand called Bugs to Go that are in a little box.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

We also powder our crickets with calcium.

Maintenance:

We clean our cage every 2 weeks.
