Males have a bump before the tail starts males are bigger and eat more

No lights, it hurts them . They prefer a dark room away from lights.

Heating and Equipment:

Do not use heating it will hurt the newts. You need a filter and clean the tank once a month . Clean everything. Do not use soap because it will harm the newts. Wash in warm water.

Caging Provided:

A ten gallon tank can have 2 newts per gallon.

Carnivorous

Blood worms Shrimp

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

None

Maintenance:

Feed a male every week if there is a female in the tank, so there is no female then feed them every three months.
