Sexing and Characteristics:

Shape of tail, or probing. gray, with chestnut circles outlined in black, and white and black checkered underbelly. a (V), or (Y) shape behind the head. Life span is between 15 and 20 years. grow to 20-30 IN.

Night

Substrate and Water Needs:

Jungle mix, newspaper, or reptile bark. I also have some moss in my cage, and the snake likes to hide in it during the day, also the moss helps to keep the humidity in the aquarium up. Likes to soak in the water so have a big dish.

Lighting and UVB:

Milk snakes do not need any lighting, but i use a day blue 60 watt uvb light.

Temperatures and Humidity:

78-90° F

Heating and Equipment:

I use the uvb light during the day to keep the temp up, and at night a under tank heat pad.

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Fuzzys and hoppers

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

I use reptocal powder for calcium and vitamin D3.

Maintenance:

Very easy, clean any dirty bedding, keep fresh water daily, and change the bedding every 2 months.

A very nice and calm snake, i have never had any problems with mine, it as never tried to bite me or anyone.
